What's in a sheet?

Sheet masks have been all the rage the last few years here in the US. Celebrity makeup artists put them on all of their fancy schmancy clients before makeup application to hydrate and plump the skin before they apply makeup. Sheet masks are in one word  fabulous,  They are an easy way to deliver hydration and nutrients into the skin with very little fuss. You simply slap a cold, slimy paper towel, that is what my boyfriend calls it, on your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. and Voila! gorgeous skin!! Sheet masks are primarily for adding moisture, hyluronic acid, honey, and important vitamins like C and E to dry and aging skin. For exfoliation they are packed with fruit enzymes to break down excess dead skin cells and clogged pores.

Funny thing is.... sheet masks  are not a new advancement in beauty. Like a lot of other great beauty trends we are currently obsessed with like 'baking' and 'lip contouring', sheet masks are a beauty trend from back in our Grandmas day...  and... um for a few of you youngins.... your GREAT grandmothers day.

This first question people often ask me after I refer them to these miracle masks is, "Why do I want this?"

A: Because I said so. Hahaha, just kidding. I wish life was that easy. The reason you want to use a sheet mask to help cure your skin woes... is that it is..... wait for it.... EASY! Open the foil packet put on your face and done.
